Do You Play Requests?
If it’s on our set-list then sure. If it’s not then chances are slim.
However, we do our best to accommodate Wedding Requests. If you’ve got a song you want played at your wedding and you book us as entertainment, we will work with you to try to make this happen.

Can we choose our own setlist?
If you book us, it’s your party. You can choose the songs from the list that you want to hear or just let us know the songs you don’t want to hear. 3 hours of music is about 40 songs.

Can we play our own music while you’re on a break?
Generally, our breaks are pretty short but if you want music between sets, all you need is a playlist on a device that has a standard headphone jack. This will plug straight into our system and you’ll have control from there. If you want to use one of our in-between sets playlists, we can take care of that.

How much does it cost to book you for my function?
For a quote, contact us at contact@brightsideband.co.nz. We charge a very reasonable set fee for 3+ hours of music with an hourly rate from then on. We do not inflate our prices for weddings. Travel within a 30 minute drive from Palmerston North is included. Beyond that, we will need to charge a $50 per hour travel fee and for trips over a 2 hour drive, we may ask for accommodation to be provided.

Can we use your sound system for speeches etc?
Sure. Let us know what you need and we’ll make sure that it’s all set up for you.

I have a particular song that I want performed live when I’m walking up the aisle. Can you provide it ?
Obviously, you don’t want or need the whole band at your ceremony. But with 5 vocalists, 2 acoustic guitarists and an infinite number of backing tracks at our disposal, why not ask us to quote on this service?
